Steve McAdam (physio) is an APA titled Sports; Exercise Physiotherapist having completed both his undergraduate physiotherapy (2009) and masters of sports physiotherapy (2017) studies at La Trobe University. He has worked with elite and recreational athletes in both Australia and the UK.

He is currently the High Performance Manager and Lead Physiotherapist for Melbourne United Basketball Club in the NBL. He has previously worked with the Western Bulldog Football Club and elite athletes from rugby league, soccer and endurance sports.

Steve McAdam has developed a special interest in jumping related injuries of the knee and ankle. He enjoys the challenge of helping people overcome the chronic issues that cause pain and limit performance and participation. 

Steve has completed the level I ASCA strength and conditioning course and is passionate about the important role of exercise as medicine.

Away from physio, Steve McAdam teaches at La Trobe University in the physiotherapy course and enjoys keeping fit with running and relaxing at the beach with his young family. In 2012 Steve was able to tick off the bucket list goal of breaking a Guinness World Record!
